After me and jobert bought our school books, the price reached to about $564.00 which totally pissed me off. I mean, two/three of those books were used!
and even more importantly, I could have bought the computer that I've wanted. and it's not all that customized pa naman.
Sadly I have a class at night and it's kinda... late? it's untill freaking 10. gawd. I can take it. DAMN YOU, NURSING! But they do have a very kickass library that lends you video tapes and CDs.
but this is JUST the start of school, and I'm pretty sure I have it way easier than the guys in the philippines but when you dont have your own computer, tv, sterio, and desk. It kinda gets harder.
Lo and behold. The teacher for writing class (this is for you erika) is telling us to keep a journal and just write on it as much as we can. I'm so prepared to give him a headache. Talking about bishounens that are on the other half of the world. Ranting on about how this mornings breakfast was better than yesterdays. I just read a naruto fanfic. well, today felt like a fanfic day so yea. I just checked up on the ones that were cointinuing and looked at a new one.
"blood brothers" by someone who's name i forgot was a very very sweet story. it showed naturo being pitiful and everyone taking pity on him and being nice to him.
hmm.. that sounds pathetic. but when you think about it, it is kinda pathetic and totally OOC for most of the characters. One of the things i didnt like about the fic was that they made gaara smile. they made him into a shy boy. I dont know, I like him murderous and insane but still a good and loyal friend to naruto (and naruto alone. bwahahahaha!!).
he's rebellious and a lone wolf in most cases and it makes him look cool. he's like a sadistic and bloodthirsty daria. and in that fanfic, he was turned into a boy that blushed and smiled and gave naruto-esque grins.

about the other characters, they were nice and giving and they all spent their time with the lonely naruto. aww. >_> I'm a sap. but point is, in the real naruto world, no one would CARE about the boy. (and that really pisses me off)

yesterday was a chance for me to read this book I bought. "The most evil men and women in the world." Sad to say, Marcos was not involved.
And for erika's benifit, I used her dictionary... ALOT. I've only finished two people so far and if you look at it, there's so many scribbles indicating the meaning of certain underlined words.
it was the surprised birthday of my tita and almost everyone was there. By the end of the party, we were all watching TV and for the first time (i think) i kinda played with my cousins.
Or rather they were playing with me. while I was watching, someone would change the channel or put it on mute. and whenever I looked behind and stared at someone they'd say: "I didnt do it."
I'd ask them, "how did you know I was talking about the TV?"
I forgot what happened after that. But either way, the culprit wasnt found. BUt we did get to watch "Last Comic Standing"'s finish. They were talking about a third season which was the 1st season-ers vs the 2nd season-ers.

Twix Peanut Butter ice cream and california plums.
They taste awesome. I'm serious! but most of all, I cant believe theres a TWIX Ice cream! and it's PEANUT BUTTER!!!
Twix is my all time favorite and it's was partially extinct for a while. PLus, they stopped having the multiple flavors and just stuck themselves on caramel.

Anyway. There’s not much to do. I have been the house maid since we arrived and I personally don’t like going out of the house until I can watch where my socks go after I use them.
However, I’m sorry to say that I am taking up nursing. Despite my horrible disgust in the various forms of bodily fluids that are not mine, I continue this journey because and JUST because I’ve already paid for the classes.

After we settled in Tita's house we went to the con early in the morning. Very much shocked to see the display of goths, cosplayers, white people, and people in general. However, I did find a cute grandma looking woman who dressed up as a Tonberry ^_^.
There were so many things to do. I mostly spent my time in the video sections watching the AMV contest and the jap and thai movie. Saw an amazing display of thai boxing, though and watched Battle Royale II
And I also take note of the evilness that the dealers in the store hold. DAMN THEM!!! I mean, they had a section for YAOI!!! They also had so many mangas, artbooks, plushies and so on and so forth! I HATE YOU AMERICANS!!
The doujinshis. Oh my gawd. The doujinshis, I mean the GW, ff7! The suikoden!!!! I also met a fellow Lina x Xel fan hehehe. However we didnt find anything. =C
They also had a section for J-Rock artists but then the L'arc stuff was already sold out after the first hour.

When I went the artist's alley I tried to keep an open mind. Trust you, I really tried. However, I'm sorry to say that THEY SUCKED!

Number of unwanted cosplay sightings: 37
Woke up and arrived late and went straight in line for the concert. The line went around one block and crossing the street and filled halfway around another block. We were like in the 3/4s of the line.
I did see two japanese guys in line. Which were cuter than the other two I saw later on (hmm.. they're coming in pairs? Or does this just prove that jap bishies are gay ^_^). However I was too uberly shy to as to take a picture to tease aurora with.
Sadly, I never saw them ever again after the concert.
And here we are: the long awaited concert. In the line, I can see the goths suffer under the sun because of their all black nature.
The suckers.
Once we were in the cool air greeted us. We took seats at the sides which were like the walls already but we were near the stage to vaguely see their faces. the center was already full with fan girls and the arena was 4/5 filled.
There was an intro of full metal alchemist since L'arc is doing their opening song and a one episode premiere. [Note: I'm a bit pissed off because the anime doesn’t exactly follow the manga and the sight of so many WHITE people watching it. I'm sorry but I'm trying to overcome my struggle here]. After that the lights blacked out and then after a long while came out L'arc en ciel.
Holy fuking shite!
They start off with "Lover Boy" and follow on with three songs. Only 20 percent of the crowd acted like a japanese audience, the rest just stood there.
Obviously, I was crying at the first song. I was thinking that you know, L'arc would have cancelled at last moment and that would explain the stalling and stuff. But NO! L'arc was there and they’re playing their songs. Hyde has his gorgeous hair and petite figure. Tetsu's looking so cute and bishie with his base and Ken's being a show-off with his gutar and yuki... yuki was so quiet. You'd think someone replaced him.
Then a break ensued
With a very think japanese accent:
Hyde: yea...
Crowd: YEAAAAA!!!!
Hyde: Ar yu having fan?
Croawd: YEAAAAAA!!!!
Hyde: *something, something I cant remember* jid yu ate crav?
Crowd: ...

Crowd: ... ... YEAAAAA!!!! *candalf: crab.. I think he said crab... YEAAA!!!* I'm serious, when he said crab only, that's when he started to feel regretful.
Hyde: yea... I ate TOO/TWO!

Then a few more songs were played. ^_^ OH MY GAWD!! can I just say! Hyde was a fucking tease!! He was there and went on the part nearest to the restraint of the crowd and jiggled his hips around and played like a fucking TEASE!!! I HATE HIM!!! He was being such a sassy biatch, i swear.
And he was making poses (so seductive, damn him) and being creative knowing what to make the fangirls scream their heads out with the setting.

Ooo. and a bit of fan service was served when hyde went behind tetsu while he was playing the his bass. Hyde put his hands on his hips and rested his chin on tetsu’s neck/shoulder.

In onw of the breaks, tetus shows off his bass skills while the band members retreat for water. Then there was a long break where the band members retreated back stage.
Soon, Ken goes out with a dolphins head and plays charades (sp?) and uses the whistle sound that was attached to the mask that made a dolphin sound.
Crowd: YEAA!!

The band came back and played a few more songs. Some that wasn’t in the album like "Heaven's drive", "Kasou", "Driver's High" and etc...
and hyde would occasionally say: "yeaa..." with his semi smug and thick accented voice. and sadly he said: "WE LOVE YOU AMERICA!!! WE LOVE YOU BALTIMOMRE"
Hyde: Ar u having fan?
Crowd: YEAAAAAAA!!!!
Hyde: Mee too.
Candalf: ... TETSU!! MARRY ME!!
While some girls around 13 behind be are shouting "We love you, Hyde"
There are some things that I was occasionally shouting every now and then:
"KEN! I ADMIRE YOUR GUITAR SKILLS and that's the extent of it"
"GO YUKI GO!!"
"TETSU!!! I LOVE YOU!!!"
DId you read that? Did you notice something? They're the ignored ones!!! DAMN IT!!
After a while, Hyde said another I love you, and that their last song was "pieces". And we were all swaying like there was no tomorrow. Even when our arms hurt, we were all united by the bishounen-ness of L'arc/Hyde.
Hyde did his occasional throwing of mineral water (the water itself, which turned to holy water due to hyde's god-iosity). And after it all, Tetsu did his famous, famous tagline in engurish:
"DO YOU WANT TO EAT MY BANANA?"
And he was throwing some bananas to those fan girls.
Obviously, I was screaming to the top of my lungs, "YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!"
Ken threw some guitar pics (I don’t know why he would do that since I don’t think most of them play GUITAR anyway). Oh yes, and he also wrecked a guitar during one of the songs, while I was shouting "STOP MISTREATING THE GUITARS, YOU ASS!!!!!"
Hyde threw a whistle and another object which I forgot. Then at the end of it all, when everyone left the arena to go back to the otakon, people were making fun of Hyde's little "crab" line.
After that, just chatted with a few people. We didn’t really bother to exchange names and stuff though. And went to watch the Anime parodies!!
Shite! They made a "yaoi ai" which was a rip off of queer eye for the straight guy. So it was like the four boys of Weiss who were the gurus of gayness that fixes this one guy. All I remember is that omi was "Hair and bondage"
The victim was the main character of "bastard" who was a supposed gamer> Since I forgot his name, let's just cal him bastard. ^_^
yaoi ai: the person we're fixing has currently bought his own house *shows a castle*, his favorite attire are replicas of LOTR armor and his hobbies are these dice thingies *shows a d12*

In the end, the finished product was Trunks (in adult form of course) hehehe. Who is obviously bishounen. ^_^
And the parody commercials were so cute. Like a commercial of evangelion. A scene in eps 1 where the eva walked and tripped, then they showed the timer of the emergency at 0:00 seconds. Everyone in the NERV is shocked because Shinji cant move the even. He's shaking the controls but it wont budge. Outside he was being attacked by the Angel with tissue arms (^_^;;; bear with me)
then at the bottom of the screen, they're showed a pink bunny with a drum, which was the mascot of energizer.
Ooo, in another parody, Gendou was portrayed as a pimp. hehe he's so kul. He even has this bgm and everyone in the audience claps along.
can you imagine Gendou saying "Oooh baby."

I also met a dude greta might have loved to meet. He can play the piano version of Liberei Fatali and a lot of other FF stuffies in piano. Totally kick ass. I thought he was Michael Huang though. ^_^;;
